4 Notes on commissioning and operation
Warning
Electrical axes can move with high force and at high
speed. Collisions can lead to serious injury to human
beings and destruction of components.
S Make sure that nobody can reach into the operat
ing range of the axes or other connected actuators
and that no objects lie in the positioning range while
the system is still connected to a power supply.

Danger of injury
Faults in parameterisation can cause injury to human
beings and damage to property. To ensure correct
setting of the points of reference and the operating
area it is essential to perform a homing run in the
following cases:
At initial start−up
After a change in homing method
After the axis zero point is modified
Every time the logic voltage supply is connected or
after every failure.
Carry out commissioning with the Festo Configuration
S
Tool (see FCT help system), or the control panel (only
type SFC−LAC−...−H2).
