Start up
6.1
Switching on the main switch
Set main switch to "1".
6.2
Prior to start/safety test
DANGER
Risk of accident, risk of injury!
If one point of the safety inspection is not met, the vehi-
cle must not be put into operation but must be repaired.
ATTENTION
The safety inspection must be performed before each use
of the vehicle.
6.2.1
Checks on the hind carriage of the
vehicle
Check waste container.
Check the hydraulic connections for cleanliness.
Check the hydraulic lines for leaks.
Check the hydraulic oil level.
Check engine oil level.
Check the coolant level.
If frost is expected, check if there is enough antifreeze
in the coolant.
See Chapter "Maintenance work"
6.2.2
Walk around the vehicle and check the
following
Check sweeping system and brush for entangled
strings and tapes.
Check the hydraulic connections for cleanliness.
Check the hydraulic lines for leaks.
Check the fuel lines and connections for leaks.
Check the electrical lines for damage.
Screws and nuts.
Check vehicle, motor and radiator grille for damage.
Cleanliness of motor air filter
Cleanliness of the cabin dust filter
Check fluid level in the wiper fluid container.
Tyre pressures, possible tyre wear.
Is the main switch switched on?
6.2.3
Check while sitting on the vehicle
Check the drive pedal for easy movement.
Is the work hydraulics (PTO) switched off?
With the ignition turned on: Are the warning lamps for
battery charging and oil pressure illuminated?
6.2.4
Start the motor and check
Do the warning lamps for battery charge indicator and
oil pressure shut off?
Do the temperature indicator and fuel gauge work?
Are the lights, travel direction indicator and the blinking
system OK?
6.3
Adjusting driver's seat
DANGER
Risk of accident!
Do not adjust the driver seat while driving.
1 Headrest
Pull out for height adjustment
2 Inclination adjustment back rest
3 Horizontal adjustment - pull up the lever to adjust
4 Switch for compressor - with air-suspended seat (op-
tion)
5 Height adjustment arm rest on the left
6 Lateral adjustment arm rest on the left
7 Longitudinal adjustment arm rest on the left
8 Control panel arm rest
9 Document storage
10 Adjustment lumbar support
11 Seat belt
12 Horizontal absorption
The inclination, height and position of the left arm rest
can be adjusted for the operation of the control panel.
The damping of the driver seat takes place automatical-
ly.
6.3.1
Passenger seat
The passenger seat can be adjusted in the horizontal di-
rection, pull up the lever to adjust.
