Clamp measurement
CAUTION
or temperature probe from the meter before making current
clamp measurements. Do not measure current on conductors
that are more than 600 V above earth ground if in a CAT III
application or more than 1000 V above earth ground if in a CAT
ll application. Observe all warnings and safety procedures when
working on live circuits.
NOTICE
Disconnect the test leads (S) from the product
before making clamp measurements.
• Set the function switch (K) to the 60A or 600A position. If the
approx. range of the measurement is not known, select the
highest range. Then move to the lower ranges if necessary.
