NOTE: It is recommended to use the variable speed feature for a short time only.
Do not continuously operate the tool at different speeds. It may damage the switch.
Forward/reverse control (Fig. 5)
Change the rotational direction from forward to reverse by pressing the forward /
reverse control.
Only change the rotational direction when the product is switched

forward / reverse rotation control is adjusted to the correct
position depending on the intended operation! Always push the
forward / reverse rotation control as far as it will go! Do not use

the product with the control switch in an intermediate position!

This tool has a variable speed switch that
delivers higher speed and torque with
increased trigger pressure. Speed is
controlled by the amount of switch trigger
depression.
The variable speed feature is particularly
useful when starting drilling. It also
enables you to select the best speed for a
particular application.
1. To limit the maximum speed of the
tool, rotate the dial on the front of
the trigger until the desired setting is
achieved.
2. Turn the dial to the "+" direction
to increase the speed and to the "-"
direction to decrease the speed.
1. To select forward rotation, release
the trigger switch and push the
forward/reverse control to the left side
(as seen from the operator's position) of
the tool.
2. To select reverse, push the forward/
reverse control to the right side (as
seen from the operator's position) of
the tool.
