completely ventilated or
filled.
Suction height too
large/Unit's NPSH
(intake) too low.
Wear of components.
Pump's back pressure is
less than that indicated in
the order.
Pump strained or
vibrations in the pipes.
Imbalanced rotor.
Damaged bearing.
Flow rate too low.

Solution
 Vent.
 Fill.
 Correct liquid levels.
 Install pump lower.
 Completely open shut-off valve
in the intake.
 If the resistance in the intake is
too large, modify the intake line.
 Check basket/suction opening.
Observe the permitted pressure

reduction speed.
 Replace components.
Set operating point exactly.

 For constant overload turn the
impeller (further enquiry
required).
 Check pipe connections and
pump fasteners, if necessary
reduce the pipe bracket
spacing.
Fasten pipes using vibration

reducing materials.
 Clean impeller.
 Replace bearing.
 Increase minimum flow rate.
