TOOL SUPPORT
Serves as a support when resting the tool on the ground.
MAIN HANDLE
For ease of operation and to help prevent loss of control.
ON/OFF TRIGGER/ LOCK-OFF SWITCH
Turns the tool ON and OFF. The lock-off switch must be squeezed before pressing
the on/off trigger. The two on/off triggers give the user flexibility to use either of them
depending on the operation or personal preference.
CARRYING EYELET
For connecting with the shoulder strap.
FRONT HANDLE
Provides firm and comfortable gripping area for prolonged operations.
TELESCOPIC TUBE
Retracts to ease storage and transportation. Extends to increase the cutting height.
PPX1000/PPX1000-FC maximum extended length is 37-3/4" (96 cm).
CLAMPING KNOB
Locks the telescopic tube at any position. Marked with lock and unlock mark for
identification.
COUPLER
Provides quick attaching/detaching of compatible cutting head attachments.
SHAFT-RELEASE BUTTON
To quickly lock/unlock the connection with the attachment.
LOCKING KNOB
Tightens connection between the coupler and the attachment shaft.
