Connect one end of the booster pump to the water cock and the other
end to the hose using the thread mouthpiece of the machine.
Electric installation
Before proceeding with the installation of the machine, check the follo-
wing:
1.-The voltage of the machine should coincide with the mains voltage.
The models 550, 750 and 750 A are supplied prepared for 400 V.
2.-Install a switch with fuses 20A (S-23, SB-23, S-290, SB-290, E-300,
S-350, SB-350, S-550 and SB-550) or 25A (S-750, SB-750, S-750 A
and SB-750 A). The machine is equipped with a cable with a cross
section of 5x4 mm² and a length of 1,70 m. THEY MUST BE EART-
HED.
OPERATION
Starting
1.-Open the 3/4" stopcock to allow water to enter the machine.
2.-Turn on the switch. Turn on the booster pump if one has been incor-
porated to the machine.
3.-Check and make sure that the aspiration filter and the drain plug are
correctly positioned.
4.-Turn the switch control to the ON position for the automatic filling of
the wash tank and the connection of the heat elements.
5.-The lighting up of the green lamp indicates the machine has rea-
ched the optimum temperature. Now introduce the detergent into the
tank (approximately 1 full coffee cup at the beginning of the cycle and
1/2 a cup every 5 cycles).
6.-Remove the solid residues from the plates and place them in the
baskets. Select the washing programme by turning the timer control
clockwise.

Important: Check that the rinsing aid container is filled up. By turning
the timer, 7 or 8 impulses, we will see the filling of the rinsing aid tube
and its going into the boiler. The doser adjustment is made by means
of an adjusting screw.
Draining the machine
Models without draining pump: Take out the drain plug without remo-
ving the filter. Water shall flow away by gravity and dirt shall gather in
the top filter.
SB models: Take out the drain plug without removing the filter and
press the main switch as shown on the operating panel. The draining
pump will go on working while the switch is on, with the door closed.
Tank cleaning
The tank should be cleaned after every washing process:
-Open the door and pull out the drain plug without lifting the filters, in
order to empty the tank and to prevent any large particles from ente-
ring the suction passage of the motor-pump. (Never remove the aspi-
ration filter when the tank is dirty).
-Extract the top filter and clean it carefully.
-SB models: Extract the top filter and the draining pump filter, and
clean it carefully.
-To clean the interior of the wash tank, close the door and start the
machine (after having previously removed the drain plug). In this way,
water will enter via the rinsing dispersers and the machine will clean
itself. This operation should be carried out for 2 to 3 minutes and will
leave the interior of the machine in an almost completely clean condi-
tion.
-Now clean the walls and the interior of the tank in a thorough manner.
The outside of the machine MUST NOT BE washed under a direct
water jet; instead you can use a wet cloth and any ordinary detergent.

-Before cleaning, overhauling or repairing the machine, it is necessary
to unplug it from the mains.
-In case of draining pump failure:
1.-Empty the tank, using an adequate container, until the water level is
under the drain plug.
2.-With the drain plug in place, remove the bottom front panel and
change the pump (this can be done without removing the machine
from its location). To empty the machine manually, connect a drain
tube to the sewer. As the drain plug is removed, the tank gets drained
by gravity.
-In the event the power supply cable should get damaged and have to
be replaced, the repair may only be done by a SAMMIC approved
assistance service.
-The emission noise level measured on a typical machine is inferior to
70 dB (A) at a distance of 1 m.
