When a LiPo battery has been charged in conjunction with a TOP Equalizer, you can call
up the numeric values for the individual LiPo cell voltages on the screen by pressing the
'MODE' button. The graphic display works in exactly the same way as that already descri-
bed for the Equalizer data display.

9. PROGRAMMING A BID CHIP

If the charger is displaying the Start screen, or is set to any other menu at the Set-up level,
it will switch to BID mode as soon as a BID chip is connected to the charger by means of
the adaptor lead. In this mode you can display or edit the data stored on the BID chip.
The charger emits a brief audible alert at this time - if the sounder has been activated. The
same applies if the charger is switched on with a BID chip connected.

The screen shot printed here shows this initial state. The
Status line announces that the BID system is in use, while
the second line shows the battery data stored on the chip.

The display changes at regular intervals in order to display

all the data. The other lines on the screen show the bat-

tery charge / discharge data, while the last line shows the
date the BID chip was programmed, or the data when the
battery was first used.
If you wish to program the BID chip data, move the mar-

ker arrow to the bottom of the screen using the '3-D hot-

key'; the information changes to the line 'EDIT BID DATA'.

You can now enter BID chip programming mode.
Marking this line and pressing the '3'D hotkey' causes the
