The installer is responsible for the correct wiring when using another PSU or evaluation unit. The ma-
ximum distance from an evaluation unit of 100 m must in any case never be exceed. An extension of
the 5 m cable of the Ants LES01 must be made as a bus cable as a shielded twisted pair of 0.75 mm
and can also be provided as a travelling cable. It must be ensured that control cables of energy-
carrying lines (such as motor cables) are routed far away from each other. The connection of the CAN
shield and the CAN GND (identical to 0 V/GND, brown wire) to fixed potential (e.g. protective earth)
must only be carried out on the PSU01.
In general, when installing buses, it must always be ensured that the installer is not electrostatically
charged in order to avoid damaging the device during installation.
