The band requires a tension between 100 and 150 N, which corres-
ponds to a defl ection of the spring of 44 ... 75 mm. The distance from
the band to the moving parts of the elevator must be at least 50 mm at
all positions of the cabin. The only exception is the guidance through the
encoder itself. Ensure that there is no dirt or foreign objects on the band.
The band may only be cut to the proper length with a suitable tool, e.g.
tin snips. Reusing the remainder of the band cut off on site is forbidden.
It must be disposed of.
The distance between band end and the next large hole must be at the
minimum 5 mm and at the maximum 15 mm.
