5.1 General information

Only carry out maintenance with the engine switched off.
•
Before carrying out maintenance work, remove the spark
plug connector.
•
Clean the engine and machine prior to carrying out
maintenance work.

prevent rolling and slipping.

Ensure that fuels, lubricants and replacement parts are
disposed of in a safe and environmentally acceptable
manner.

Avoid short-circuits on current-carrying cables.
•
When cleaning the machine with a high-pressure water
jet, do not aim the jet directly at electrical components.
•
After washing, blow components dry with compressed
air to prevent creepage currents.
