Alternative fit check, which allows you to keep the lung demand valve
connected to the self-contained breathing apparatus and the
facepiece:
●
Close cylinder valve.
●
Inhale all air from the system, then carry out leak test.
●
Open the cylinder valve again.
Notices on use
Report to operation only with an airtight facepiece!
If the facepiece is not airtight, this could result in physical injury.
Low Temperatures
Use "kp comfort" anti-fog agent to prevent fogging of the visor.
High temperatures/variation in thermal stress
In case of any damage, e.g. bubbles in the visor, immediately leave
the danger zone. Failures of the facepiece increase the risk of
injury.
The coating may dissolve in some places on visors marked with
PCas. The facepiece is fully serviceable until the end of the
operation. Replace visor after use.
Chemicals
Some substances may be absorbed by the material of the facepiece
and may possibly diffuse into it. For further information please
contact your local Dräger representative.
Potentially explosive areas
Use a water screen or treat the facepiece meticulously with antistatic
spray.
