5.3.1
Switching off in a normal situation
To switch off the dock leveller:
1.
Bring the dock leveller to the parked position (see "Returning the dock leveller to
parked position" on page 30).
2.
Turn the main switch from the "1" position to the "0" position.
5.3.2
Switching off in an emergency situation
1.
In case of an emergency or a dangerous situation immediately switch the main
switch to "0".

Warning
Do not switch the main switch to "0" during normal operation of the dock leveller.
The dock leveller can no longer follow the vertical movements of the truck. This
could lead to dangerous situations or damage to the equipment.

Only switch to "0" in case of an emergency or a dangerous situation.
5.4
Running procedures
5.4.1
Bringing the dock leveller in loading/unloading position
To bring the dock leveller in loading/unloading position:
1.
Switch on the dock leveller, see Switch on (on page 27).
2.
Position the truck with doors open correctly in front of the dock leveller.
If a dock door restricts the loading area, first open the door as required.
3.
Make sure that no persons, goods or other objects are on, or in front of, the dock
leveller.
4.
Press [deck up] until the deck has reached its highest position and the lip is
completely extended, see Operation elements (on page 25).
