Troubleshooting
What to do
Dispense 10 qt (10 L) of water so fresh
water supply is replenished.
Turn water on.
Press dispenser for 2 minutes to remove
trapped air from water line and to fill
the water system.
Check supply for kinks or leaks.
To remove air, run 3 qt (3 L) of water
through the dispenser.
Replace filter (see back of this booklet
for Customer Care contact details).
Press and hold the
button for
4 seconds.
Increase temperature to a warmer
setting in fresh food compartment
and freezer.
Discard first glass of water dispensed.
Allow water time to cool.
Replace filter as soon as possible (refer
to pages 26 – 27).
Flush 3 qt (3 L) water through dispenser,
stopping intermittently.
Flush 10 qt (10 L) water through filter
and then 3 qt (3 L) through dispenser.
Replace filter as soon as possible (see
pages 26 – 27).
Arrange items in freezer so door can
close tightly.
Check and clean door gasket seal.
Refer to refrigerator sounds (refer to
page 41).
Minimize door openings.
