4.3 | Installation
Insert the cheese head screw into the mirror stem, place the smallest clamping sleeve
over it and screw the cone onto the thread so that it spreads open the sleeve slightly.
Insert the sleeve into the open handlebar and check whether the large clamping
sleeve from the scope of delivery also has to be connected in order to fill out the
handlebar tube as much as possible. Align the mirror stem on the handlebar and
tighten the cheese head screw gently with a hexagon key (size: 5). Repeat the process
on the other side of the handlebar as necessary.
CAUTION!
Risk of accident!
• Make sure that the throttle twistgrip on the motorcycle is not
blocked by the mirror stem. There should be a 2 mm gap between
the throttle twistgrip and the mirror stem. The throttle twistgrip
must be easy to turn and should spring back by itself when
released.
Then adjust the mirror head and stem so as to give the best rear view. On the right
side, check again that the mirror stem does not prevent the throttle twistgrip from
