Risk of accident!
• In order to use the sat nav mounting bracket safely, it must be installed on the
vehicle in such a way that it does not impede the rider's view of the road or
traffic. This also applies to the road behind you – mirrors must not be covered.
• The sat nav mounting bracket must be securely installed. If it were to fall off,
it could endanger other road users and cause an accident.
• The sat nav mounting bracket must be installed so that a good view of the sat
nav is ensured without distracting the rider from the traffic.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage!
• Ensure that the sat nav mounting bracket never comes into contact with any
other part of the vehicle (fairing, tank etc.) and does not impede the rider in
any way, even when the handlebar is turned to full lock.

4 | Installation

4.1 | Preparation

First jack up the vehicle securely in a well lit place. To install the gazzini Sat Nav Mounting Bracket
you require handlebars with an outside diameter of 22 mm (metric) or 28.6 mm (double-butted).
The installation position must also be selected so that the rider's vision is not obstructed by the sat
nav mounting bracket or the sat nav.

1. Select the clamp (1) to suit the purchased design: 22 mm or 28.6 mm and find a suitable place
on the handlebar which has a width of at least 20 mm. Make sure that the diameter of the
handlebar in this area is even and not tapered.
2. Place the clamp around the handlebar and align it. Tighten the cheese head screw (2) with a
hexagon key (size 4).
3. Components 3 + 4 + 5 are already joined together. Now screw this unit into the clamp (1) and
secure it gently against the clamp (1) with the lock nut (3).
