GHG 252 Main-switch / load disconnect switch
Due to the AC 3 motor switching capacity of the safety switches, reliable
isolation (switching) is also possible during operation
The Main-switch / load disconnect switch (IEC/EN 60947-3) are designed
for the safe isolation of the electrical energy at all poles on equipment,
machinery and drives in potentially explosive atmospheres.

GHG 252 Safety switch; maintenance-/repair -switch
Due to the AC 3 motor switching capacity of the safety switches, reliable
isolation (switching) is also possible during operation
The safety switches (IEC/EN 62626-1; class 1) are designed for the safe
isolation of the electrical energy at all poles while maintenance, cleaning
and repair work is being carried out on equipment, machinery and drives
in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The classification according to IEC/EN 62626-1 is given.
The "EMERGENCY-STOP" version conforms to the requirements of
IEC/EN 60204-1.
A built-in locking device prevents the opening of the enclosure in the
"OFF" position.

Installation

The relevant national regulations and the generally recognized rules of
engineering apply for the installation and operation (IEC/EN 60079-14).
The improper installation and operation of switches GHG 252
may result in the invalidation of the guarantee.
61
Mounting
The switches GHG 252 can be mounted without opening the enclosure.
The switch can be aligned as shown in Figure 2.
When being mounted directly onto the wall, the switches GHG 252 shall
rest evenly only at the fastening points provided for them. The chosen
screw shall match the fastening hole (see dimensional drawing) and they
shall not damage the hole (e.g. use of a washer).
The switches GHG 252, shall be fixed diagonally with a minimum of 2
screws.
The switches GHG 265 and GHG 266 shall be fixed with a minimum of
4 screws.
If the screws are overtightened, the apparatus may be damaged.
The switches GHG 252 enclosure size 1, are suited for plug-in mounting
on CEAG apparatus holders, sizes 2, whereby they are pushed into the
guide groove from the top of the apparatus holder
(see fig. 3 and fig. 4).
The switches GHG 252 enclosure size 2, are suited for plug-in mounting
on CEAG apparatus holders, sizes 3, whereby they are pushed into the
guide groove from the top of the apparatus holder
(see fig. 3 and fig. 4).
The switches GHG 252 enclosure size 3, are suited for plug-in mounting
on CEAG apparatus holders, sizes 3, by means of self-cutting screws
(see fig. 5).
See the respective mounting instructions.
