5.2 Installation and connection

•
Unpack the device and remove all packing material. Ensure no packing elements are
accessible to children. Risk of suffocation!
•
Put the device in a safe place capable of supporting its weight and resistant to heat.
•
Never place the device on a flammable surface (tablecloths, carpets, etc.).
•
Never put the device at the edge of a table to avoid accidents.
•
Never keep the device in a wet or dry environment.
•
Do not place the device near an open flame, electric oven, heater or other source of
heat.
WARNING! Hazard via electrical current!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation!
Before installation the local power grid specification should be compared with
that of the device (see type label).
Connect the device only in case of compliance!
Take note of the security advice!
•
The electrical circuit of the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect
the device to a wall outlet; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
•
Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible so as to quickly disconnect the
device if the need arises.

5.3 Operation

•
Before using the device, clean it thoroughly in accordance with the instructions
contained in 6.2 "Cleaning".
•
Place the device on a table, with a surface resistant to heat and which is dry, level
and stable.
•
Prepare milk for foaming.
NOTE!
The heating function means makes preheating milk unnecessary.
