2. GENERAL

Due to the growing pellet market and the requirement for space utilization there is a strong demand for sophisticated storage systems.
Pelletbox – an ideal and clean solution
Due to it's construction the pelletbox in single parts can be brought in and assembled in any suitable room:

2.1. GENERAL DETAILS

This manual including all safety instructions has to be read and obeserved before installation. After reading this manual keep it close at hand for
easy reference.
The storage room should adjoin to an external wall and should be easily accessible for potential maintenance and repair work.
The access road for the particular transport vehicle must be at least 3 metres broad and 4 metres high.
The storage room should be carried out as big as possible and should at least be able to contain the annual required filling quantity.
If the heating system has been shut off more than 3 months (e. g. no hot-water mode during the sommer months), it is recommended to check
the function of the entire heating system including the pellet store before the heating season.

2.2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• The pelletbox must only be used for storage of wooden pellets according to EN ISO 17225-2 (replaced ÖNORM M7135 and DIN51731 or
EN 14961-2). Use with other media or liquids is prohibited.
• Any alterations or changes are prohibited. Warranty will also terminate!
• No sharp items are allowed in the room of installation, as any contact with sharp items may damage the fabric.
• The room of installation must prevented from unauthorized access (e.g. children, pets...).
• Outside the storage room a terminal box with 230 V and 16 A fuse protection has to be accessible.
• The pelletbox must be earthed through the predfined earthing screw attached to the basic stayer (see mounting manual) by use of an
appropriate earthing wire.
• The fabric must be protected from sunlight.
• Fire regulations must be observed.
• Electrical connections and maintenance work must only be performed by authorized and state-licensed professionals.
• For all works on the pelletbox or the extraction system, electricity must be switched off (power off heating system, separate system from power
supply...)
• Both during mounting and operation climbing on the pelletbox is prohibited. A separate climbing aid (e.g. step ladder) should be used when
needed.
• Upon completion of the installation, all components must be checked for vertical mounting.
• Appropriate protective clothing and equipment has to be worn (i.e gloves...) during installation of the storage system and during any operation
on the storage system or the extraction unit.
2.3. FUEL
Only pellets with the following quality must be used as fuel:
According to EN ISO 17225-2 (replaced ÖNORM M7135 and DIN51731 or EN 14961-2).The specifications of the fuels must be followed, as
the extraction systems are designed for these particular fuels.
