Before proceeding to the assembly of the new visor can be of help for the later stages wetting
with water the face blank at the frame that will be in contact with the two parts of the visor
harness. Then position the new visor by placing it inside the groove of the face blank. For the
correct positioning use the marks of the groove and align them to the teeth (top and bottom)
of the visor.

Push the upper part of the frame exerting a pressure on the outer surface of the groove of
the facepiece so as to facilitate the sliding of the frame on the rubber of the facepiece. Place
the lower part of the frame and check that the rectangular pins at its ends are inserted in
their respective seats of the upper part of the frame. Push the two parts of the frame one
towards the other and towards the center of the visor so that you hear the click of the two
teeth of frame on their teeth arranged on the screen. Insert the two screws in the holes of
the upper part of the frame and tighten them.
10.2
Replacement of speech module
Remove the grid (pos.6 figure 2) by moving the tooth top through the insertion of a tool
(e.g. a screwdriver of maximum width 4mm and maximum thickness 1mm or equivalent)
in the slot of the grid positioned just above the threaded connector (I figure 5) and moving
the tool downwards so that the end inside the grid goes upwards disengaging the looking
tooth (II figure 5); then release from the threaded connector body the grid by releasing the
tooth lock. Remove the half mask (pos.10 figure 4) from the phonic cap (phonic device unit
cap pos.5 figure 2). Lower the tooth of the speech module from the external side of the
connector body and remove the speech device. Position the OR 2106 (pos.4 figure 2) on
the new speech device and push it until it stops. Insert the speech module (pos.5 figure 2)
until it clicks with the OR mounted in place on the threaded connector, making sure proper
insertion of the OR in the gap between the two pieces. Apply the grid (pos.6 figure 2) until
you hear the other click of the two teeth and replace the half-mask with the hole engaged in
the grove of the speech module cap, correctly positioned.
10.3
Replacement of the exhalation valve (model SP/A)
Remove the grid according to the procedure described in 10.2. Remove the lock bridge
(pos.2 figure 3) which keeps in place the valve spring through a careful flex allowing removal
without breaking. Remove the positive pressure spring without deforming it (pos. 3 figure
3) and then the exhalation valve (piston spring guide pos. 4 figure 3). Replace the valve after
checking the date and repeat the instructions of disassembly in reverse sequence. Then
assemble the grid (pos.8 figure 3) until you hear two clicks.
10.4
Replacement of the exhalation valve (standard model)
Remove the grid (pos.6 figure 2) according to the procedure described in section 10.2. Grasp
the exhalation valve (pos.2 figure 2) and pull outward to release it and then remove it. Insert
the stem mounting the new valve seat in the center hole of the threaded connector (pos.1
figure 2) and pull it from inside the body of the mask until it clicks. Replace the protective grid
on the connector body and push until you hear two clicks.
