Operating principles
The air inhaled through the inhalation valve in the connecting piece is fed into the mask and
flows in the inner part of the visor thus preventing misting. The air enters the inner mask
through the check valves and after use by operator, is exhaled through an exhalation valve
in the connecting piece. On the models that contain the letters SP/A, the exhalation valve is
equipped with a compression spring which allows the proper operation of positive pressure
breathing apparatuses connected to the masks. This valve creates an overpressure inside the
mask thus ensuring a high level of safety.
