Measure the Fracarro OPT optical link with (analog audio/video programs only)
In the event that you have to transmit analog terrestrial signals by means of the terrestrial input (TERR), the calculation of the
input level should be done as described below.
In this case, the maximum splitting value (the link number) is 1×4, which means no more than 4 optical links that start from
the headend (maximum 4 OPT-RX51). Furthermore, you have to consider a maximum of 8 audio/video analog programs.
For the audio/video analog programs, you can't use the hyperband S (S1 ÷ S10 ; S11 ÷ S41).
For measuring the installation correctly (level of the analog signal at the input of OPT-TX51), use table 4.
All the other digital programs (both satellite or terrestrial) that are transmitted must be set at a 10 dBµV level lower than the
level of the analog signals.
Example:
transmission of 5 audio/video analog programs (TERR input of the OPT-TX51 transmitter), 10 audio/video digital terrestrial
programs (TERR input of the OPT-TX51 transmitter) and 32 audio/video digital satellite programs:

NOTE:
for the transmission of a higher number of 8 audio/video analog programs, use the "AUX in/out" input by means of an ex-
ternal optical transmitter and external optical receivers (1260÷1500nm).
