Wear the following protective equipment when performing maintenance:

Also make sure that the curved knife is securely clamped into the horizontal clamping device and

rests safely against the end stop bolts.

Pull the cup grinding wheel including the spring washer off the motor axle.
IMPORTANT!
Mark the cup grinding wheel as used and dispose of it!
3.
Slip the new cup grinding wheel including the spring washer onto the motor axle and tighten it.
Tightening torque for M8 => 25Nm.
DANGER!
The new cup grinding wheel must not be exposed to blows!
RISK of bursting during operation!
Unless specified otherwise, the maintenance steps described herein can be performed by the operator.
Some maintenance steps may only be performed by specially trained qualified personnel or the
manufacturer. These steps will be pointed out separately in the description of the individual maintenance
steps.
All work on the electrical system must be performed by trained electricians.

DANGER!
Risk of fatal injury caused by unauthorized restart!
Performing maintenance work always involves the risk of the power supply being switched
on without authority. This may cause fatal injuries to any person inside the hazard area of
the machine.
Therefore:
Switch off all power supplies and secure them against restart before commencing any
work.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to recoiling lever!
Levers under spring tension may cause injury.
Therefore:
Use caution when working on levers under spring tension.
Keep at a safe distance.
Remove any used, excess or exiting grease from all lubricating points that are manually supplied with
lubricant and dispose of the grease as required by all applicable local regulations.
