5.1.

Area of application

The 8071 sensor is intended to measure, thanks to its oval rotors,
the flow rate of viscous fluids. It must be combined with an elec-
tronic device (such as transmitter type 8025 Universal or controller
type 8025 Batch) which converts the pulse frequency due to oval
rotors rotation.
5.2.

General description

5.2.1.

design

The low flow sensor type 8071 is built of a fitting which includes
oval rotors and of an electronic module with detection using an Hall
effect sensor.
The oval rotors contain magnets.
All the sensor versions provide an Open Collector NPN frequency
output and a frequency output on Reed switch.
The electrical connection is made by a 1 meter 5-wire cable.
