OPTICAL MAINTENANCE.
Mirror.
- Disconnect from the mains.
- Open the lantern's side doors and the bonnet.
- Take out the lamp.
( Refer to the page 7 "Putting the lamp into place").
- Unscrew the 2 screws 1 .
- Withdraw the mirror holder set 2 .
- Clean the reflector 3
Aspheric lens.
- Unscrew the 2 screws 4 .
- Withdraw the lens holder set 5 .
- Clean the lens 6
- Re-assemble all the parts.
- Clean, in the same way, the 2 lenses found in the interior
of the zoom.
Theoretic adjustment
SPARK-GAP.
- Disconnect from the mains.
- Open the lanterns bonnet and side doors.
- Unscrew nut a while holding in place the counter-nut b .
- Then, unscrew nut b .
- Adjust the upper electrode c to 1 mm from the lower
electrode.
- Tighten the counter-nut b
• The adjustment is made, when manufactured.
Interfere only in case of a faulty ignition.
• If the electrodes are too dirty, change the whole spark-gap
control. ( Spark gap control 1200 ref. : ME15110001 ).
