• Measure shell height H
• Calculate the response height L
maximum admissible filling volume of 95% (V/V)
L
= H x 0.95

INSTALLATION TO THE TANK
Assembly insert
After having DETERMINED THE ADJUSTING DIMENSION X, the insert must be locked.
Insert G 1
• Connecting threads present on the tank larger than G1 can be brought to the connecting
thread G1 of the insert by using commercially available reducers. Due to the partial increase
of the fitting edge, the following is applicable: X = a + k + k
The following must be observed when installing the limit indicator in potentially
explosive areas
• Installation for the respective EX protection zone is admissible if the inflammable category 1
to 3 liquids belong to the temperature classes T1 to T4 according to EN 60079-0.
Group II device, category 1 and 2 G (gas) according to EN 60079-26.
• The temperature of the potentially explosive atmosphere may not exceed or fall below the
range of -20°C to +60°C.
• The pressure of the potentially explosive atmosphere may not exceed or fall below the
range of 0.8bar to 1.1bar (absolute).
• The inflammable category 1 to 3 liquids may not have any chemical or corrosive effects.
• The tightness of the sensor within the probe tube may not be jeopardised.
