Troubleshooting guide

Cause
During Bluetooth pairing my other device is prompting
for a code, what do I have to enter?
The pairing code is
required for the initial
coupling of uStream with
your Bluetooth device
(pairing)
I hear intermittency during audio streaming via uStream
The Bluetooth device
is too far away, or worn
in a back pocket (body
shielding)
uStream searches for
known devices for two
min after switching on
A phone connected to
other devices, such as
a PC, may not be able
to continuously stream
music

Possible remedy
The uStream pairing code is
"0000" (four zeros)
Do not to exceed the
maximum distance 5-10 m
(15-30 ft) and keep Bluetooth
devices in front of you
After two minutes, uStream
will stop searching and the
intermittency will stop
When using your Bluetooth
phone as music player,
disconnect it from other
devices, such as PCs
Cause
The volume of the music or phone is too loud or too quiet
Different audio sources
have different outputs
I have difficulties understanding the phone conversation
in a noisy environment
Your hearing aid
microphones are set
too high during the call
The caller can hear me but I cannot hear the caller
The call was transferred
to your phone
Some phones, when
accepting the call through
the phone button, don't
use uStream
Possible remedy
To change the volume of the
phone or any other sound
source to uStream, first use
the volume button of that
external device, then make
minor adjustments with the
uStream
Reduce the environmental
noise by pressing the volume
down button for two seconds
and then use the phone
volume button to increase the
phone volume
Make sure the call is
transferred back to uStream
via the phone menu or long
press of the access ( )
button
Always accept the call by
pressing the access ( )
button
