Attention! Oil escape at the acoustic atten-
uator!
This situation can occur if:
- Oil is extracted, compressed air is continuously
connected to the product, and the prechamber is
filled beyond the maximum level stated.
- The prechamber is emptied into the tank without
first opening valve (P). This process is only
necessary if there is still a partial vacuum in the
tank.
- The product is moved with the prechamber full
and the movement of the oil soils the venturi unit.
Cleaning acoustic attenuator (Fig. 10)
Unscrew the soiled acoustic attenuator, dismantle and
clean all individual parts.
Hold a cloth in front of the outlet opening in the venturi
unit and connect compressed air to the quick-release
connector.
Disconnect the compressed air when no more oil is
blown out.
Re-fit the acoustic attenuator.
Collecting oil (AR90, R90)
Fig. 11 - Place the product under the vehicle on the lift
and place the collecting tray as close as possible to the
drain point. To adjust the height, undo the threaded ring
(L) by hand.
Do not raise the collecting tray to the
stop at the top, as otherwise the venti-
lation openings on the support will be
closed! Allow 4 to 5 cm clearance!
Collect the waste oil.
Open the cock (O) to drain the oil directly into the
tank. If, on the other hand, the cock (O) is left closed,
the oil will remain in the collecting tray for subsequent
inspection.
The tank must never be filled beyond
the limit on the oil level gauge fitted to
the side of the tank.
Emptying the tank (Fig.12)
Close the cock (O) (type AR90, R90) and lift collect-
ing tray (type R90) to the stop at the top such that the
ventilation opening is closed automatically.
Fold back the locking lever (T) to release the valve (P)
(type A90, AR90).
Close the valve (P) by turning clockwise (type A90,
AR90).
We reserve the right to make changes without notice
Attach the end piece on the drain hose to the opening
on the waste oil collecting container.
Open the drain cock (S) (all types).
Open the compressed air cock (Q) and connect com-
pressed air with max. 0.5 Bar/7psi until all the oil has
been emptied from the tank.
Disconnect compressed air and close compressed air
cock (Q).
Note: The products are equipped with a safety valve
calibrated to 1 bar.
