N.B.
It should be noted that error signals (ER01, ER02 and
ER03, ER12, ER14 codes) caused by critical appliance
malfunctions will cause the appliance to stop working
until the problem has been resolved. In this case, the
beep will sound for 30 seconds; after this time it will
stop and an error message will remain on the display. In
other cases, once a problem has been signalled, the
appliance continues to run in the mode set previously.
The beep will sound for 5 seconds; after this time it will
stop and an error message will remain on the display.
Under these circumstances, the user will not be able to
change the operating mode (e.g. MAN or BP).
N.B. to cancel error messages, press the following
buttons in sequence:
DISPLAY —> "-" —> DISPLAY —> "+".
-on completion, turn the remote control unit OFF using
the ON/OFF button; the appliance will then turn itself
OFF;
-Turn the control unit OFF using the ON/OFF button;
-remove the optional radio module from the ECU.
Now the appliance will work in accordance with the
control unit configuration with the new speed settings
V min , V max , V med = (V min + V max )/2.
If you need to re-set the original default settings (present
before set by the remote control unit) all you need to do
is carry out the procedure shown on the display:
V min , = 32
V max = 84

Function

The appliance has two differing operating modes:
- manual mode: the appliance will work at the speed
selected by the user (with the default setting or with
the setting selected using the remote control) with the
switch on the control unit (V min , V med or V max )(fig.

- natural ventilation mode: the appliance will work at the
speed selected by the user (with the default setting or
with the setting selected using the remote control)
with the switch on the control unit (V min , V med or
V max ) with the by-pass valve open; In this mode, air
coming directly from outdoors is allowed into living
areas and by-passes the heat exchanger unit (and
thus no heat recovery); Bypass valve opening takes
place automatically, in accordance with the indoor,
outdoor and set-point conditions.
Motors
The appliance is equipped with:
Two brushless three phase motors, specifically
designed to guarantee very low energy consumption
thanks to their high efficiency. They drive two centrifugal
fans with reverse blades provided with high air flow
efficiency which respectively extract stale and damp air
from
the
service
washrooms, etc) and introduce fresh air from the
exterior into the living rooms (sitting rooms, dining
rooms, bedrooms, etc);
A stepper motor, that operates the by-pass and anti-
frost valves.
Heat exchanger
The two air flows, intake and outtake, meet in the
appliance (without ever actually coming into direct
contact so as not to jeopardise the quality of incoming
air) inside the heat exchanger where the warm
outgoing/extracted air passes its heat to the cold
incoming air, thus minimising the temperature variation
in the areas served.
Valvles
A valve system performs the summer by-pass and
automatic anti-frost functions of the heat exchanger
By-pass: the purpose of the bypass is to ventilate living
areas without heat transfer. The opening of the by-pass
valves enables the direct introduction of external air,
