• After each use, clean the comb thoroughly using the cleaning brush – particularly before using
the device on another person.
• During use, ensure that the comb does not come into contact with the mouth, eyes or ears.
• People with a sensitive scalp may experience slight tingling or itching during use. This is normal
and not harmful to your health.
• Do not use the device on persons with heart conditions, epilepsy or pacemakers. People with
heart conditions, epilepsy or pacemakers must also not operate the device on other people.
• Do not use the device on birthmarks or the scalp if the skin is broken.
• The device complies with the EU Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC, the German Medi-
cal Devices Act (Medizinproduktgesetz) and the European standard EN 60601-1-2 (in accord-
ance with IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-3) and is subject to particular precautions with regard to
