4.- FITTING THE BOTTOM POST
COVER.-
Take the main post (48) and insert the
bottom post cover (40) in the direction
of the arrow, Fig.9.
Connect the terminal (16), coming out of
the handlebar stem (48) and the termina
(49) the main body (1), as shown in
Fig.10.
Insert the handlebar stem (48) onto the
boss on the main body (1) taking care
not to pinch the cables.
Fit the bolts (89) and flat washers (88),
as shown in Fig.10, align the handlebar
stem and hand tighten.
5.- FITTING THE MONITOR.-
Loosen the bolts on the handlebar
bracket (23), Fig.11.
Bring the handlebar (52) to the main
post (48), refit the bolts (23) along with
the flat washers, which were removed
previously and make sure that the
handlebar is lined up correctly. Use
spanner (93) to tighten all of the
handlebar bolts securely.
The bolts at the bottom that were left
hand tight in point 4 must also be
tightened fully.
Take the front (81) and rear (82)
covers and position them on the
main post (48), Fig.11. Now use the
screws (94) and (50) to attach them
to the post.
Next, connect terminals (16-53), sticking
out of the handlebar, and terminal (47-
46), sticking out of the monitor (76),
Fig.12.
Place the monitor (76) on top of the
plate on the main post (48), as shown in
Fig.12, making sure not to pinch the
wires.
With the help of spanner (97), use
screws (77) to hold the monitor in place,
Fig.12.
Place the book rest (87) into the holes at
the back of the monitor (76) Fig.13.
6.- FITTING THE BOTTLE
HOLDER.-
Loosen off the two bolts (51) on the
handlebar assembly (48) and position
the bottle holder (84) then tighten up

7.- ATTACHING THE PEDALS.-
The assembly instructions for the
pedals must be followed to the letter,
fitting
these
damage the screw thread on the
pedal or the crank.
Right and left refer to the position that
the user adopts when sitting on the
saddle to do the exercises.
The right-hand pedal (99) , marked with
the letter (R), screws onto the right-hand
crank (Q), also marked with an (R), in a
clockwise direction. Tighten securely,

The left-hand pedal (98), marked with
the letter (L), screws onto the left-hand
crank, also marked with an (L), in an
anti-clockwise
securely. Once the pedals have been fi
tted, insert the end of the pedal clip (1)
into the slot on the pedal (2) adjusting it
to your footwear on the ledge of the
pedal (3), Fig.16.
LEVELLING.-
Once the unit has been placed into its fi
nal position, make sure that it sits fl at
on the fl oor and that it is level. This is
achieved by screwing the adjustable
foot (69) up or down, Fig.17.
