Drive controller
If the UCS520 is used as a drive controller, the drive is connected directly to
the device. External signals are converted into control commands. The coding
switch 2 must be in the lower position.
Group controller
If the UCS520 is used as a group controller, other group controllers/drive con-
trollers can be controlled. This control can relay external switching signals.
This function can be used to connect groups and carry out joint switching com-
mands. The coding switch 2 must be in the upper position.
Functions in manual mode (on the device and via radio
control)
• RETRACT, STOP, EXTEND
• Intermediate position
• Fabric tensioning position
• Emergency signals
Functions in automatic mode
• External automatic drive commands
• RETRACT, STOP, EXTEND
• Intermediate position
• Fabric tensioning position
• Emergency signals
Moving to intermediate position
You should only move to or program the intermediate position from the retracted
end limit.
Press the EXTEND button twice in rapid succession. The awning will move to the
stored intermediate position.
Moving to fabric tensioning position
You should only move to or program the fabric tensioning position from the ex-
tended end limit.
Press the RETRACT button twice in quick succession. The awning will move to
the saved fabric tensioning position.
