Step 4:
Installation of the handrail (6) and the handrail end piece (7) on the
left (5) and right (4) supports with the screws M8x70, the screws
M8x45 (21), the curved washers 8//16, the washers 8//16 and the
clamps (8).
1. Put one curved washer (22) and one clamp (8) on each screw (21).
2. Plug/place together the pulse cable ends No. 12 and No. 60 projecting
from the hand rail (6) and from the hand rail tail pieces (7).
3. Place the hand rail tail piece (7) at the end of the hand rail (6) (Attention:
Do not squeeze in the pulse cables in doing so) and bore in the parts
in such a way that they are placed on each other. Lead this unit to the
upper end of the supporting pipe (4) and (5) and bring the above
mentioned borings in (69) and (7) to rest above the borings in (4) and
(5).
4. Push the screws (21) through the holes and screw in lightly.
5. Put a washer on each screw (17).
6. Align the holes at the sides of (4) and (5) with those in the handrail
pieces.
7. Push the screws (17) through the holes and screw in firmly. Then
tighten the previously installed screws (21).
8. Push the ends of the cables (13) (projecting from the handrail) and (14)
(from the left support) together.
Step 5:
Installation of the computer (11) on the handrail with the screws
M5x10 (18).
1. Insert the necessary batteries (2xMignon AA 1.5V) in the computer.
2. Place the computer on the computer bracket at the middle of the
handrail (6) and align the holes in the computer with the holes in the
bracket.
3. Screw the screws (18) through the holes and tighten firmly.
4. Plug the end of the computer cable harness of the handrail (13) into the
associated socket on the rear of the computer.
5. Insert the plug of the hand pulse (12) in the likewise corresponding
socket of the computer.
Step 6:
Securing the machine before and after training
1. Before training begins, the machine must be secured with the handgrip
screw (10).
2. For this, the handgrip screw (10) must be pushed through the hole (b)
in the lug of the main frame (1) and screwed into the threaded hole of
the left support (5).

3. After training, the machine must be secured as follows for space-
saving storage.
4. The round handgrip screw (30) and the handgrip screw (10) must be
unscrewed and the main frame (1) folded to the handrail (6).
5. The handgrip screw (10) must be screwed into the threaded hole (a) in
the lug of the main frame (1). The round handgrip screw (30) must be
pushed through the opening in the left support (5) and screwed into
the threaded hole in the main frame (1).
