5 Commissioning
Warning
Piston rods can move out suddenly and
unexpectedly, thereby causing injury to
anybody who is in the positioning range.
S Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand in the
positioning range of the moveable
mass
no objects project into the positioning
range of the moving mass
the clamping cartridge is logically
correctly actuated
no modifications may be made to the
product.
Improper modifications impair the func
tioning and represent a safety risk.
Warning
Piston rods can move out suddenly and unexpectedly, thereby causing injury to
anybody who is in the positioning range.
S Avoid exceeding the static holding force (è Technical specifications). The
clamping cartridge is not suitable for dynamic braking. The dynamic forces
must not exceed the static holding forces.
S Ensure that the linear module is pressurized only in the park position when
clamping is released.
Movement against a non−pressurized chamber will create an acceleration
which can damage the cylinder.
