Fitting the clamping cartridge type KP:
1. Push the clamping cartridge from above
into the support hole of the housing.
2. Push the clamping rod through the hous
ing and the clamping cartridge.
Fastening the clamping unit type KPE:
Push the clamping rod into the clamping

unit.
Place the clamping unit in the intended

position.
The KPE clamping unit has through holes
and fastening threads.
Fastening the cylinder with clamping unit
ADN−...−KP/DNC−...−KP/DSNU−...−KP :
Fit the cylinder with the clamping unit on
S
the front or via supports.
Fastening elements for different cylinders with
clamping unit can be found in the Festo acces
sories (è Catalogue specifications).
Make sure there is sufficient space for the pneumatic connections.
