After removing the machine from its packaging, place it base downwads in a safe, flat
horizontal place, where there is no other equipment or articles which may impair use, or
allow the machine to be knocked or damaged.
Check that the support surface has heating sources and that it is properly clean and dry.
Also confirm whether there is an earthed electrical socket near the installation site.
• It is recommended that the machine installation surface should be located at least 80
centimetres from the ground.
• Before using your equipment for the first time, make sure the machine and all its
accessories are present and in a good state of repair.
Where in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the Customer Service and
Support (00 800 20 50 20 50).
• Confirm whether the output voltage of the electrical socket corresponds to the voltage
stated on the classification label of your coffee machine.
• In order to protect people from fire, electric shock or injuries, do not immerse the cable,
electrical plug or equipment in water or any other liquid.
• Do not touch the equipment when your hands are wet or damp.
• Do not touch or use the equipment in your bare feet.
• There must be close supervision when any electrical equipment is used by or near
children.
