IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

Whenever using electrical appliances, basic precautions must always
be followed, including the following:
•
Read all the instructions.
•
Check that the output voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated
on the classification label of the coffee machine.
•
In order to protect people from fire, electric shocks and injuries,
do not submerge the cable, plug or apparatus in water or in some
other liquid.
•
Great care must be taken when any electrical appliance is used
by or near children.
•
Take the plug out of the socket when the electrical equipment is
not being used or before carrying out cleaning thereat. Leave to
cool before taking out or placing parts or before cleaning the
electrical appliance.
•
Don't put any electrical appliance in operation if the cable or socket
is damaged, or of it has suffered any malfunction. Take the electrical
appliance to an authorised repair service to examine, repair or
adjust it.
•
The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of
the electrical appliance may cause a fire, electrical shock or injuries
to people.
•
Do not use outside.
•
Do not leave the cable hanging over the edge of the table or counter
or touching a hot surface.
•
Do not place the electrical appliance near or on a hot electric or
gas stove, nor inside a heated up oven.
•
Do not use the electrical appliance for purposes for which it was
not intended.
•
Only fill the tank with clean, cold water. Never fill the tank with milk,
oil/olive oil or other similar liquids.
•
To turn it off, take the plug out of the wall socket. Always hold the
plug tight. Never force the cable.
•
Some of the components of the electrical appliance are hot when
in operation, so don't touch them with your hand. Only use handles
or knobs.
•
Do not leave the electrical appliance on unattended.
•
The operating or storage room temperature must be greater than
0º C.
•
Do not leave the electrical appliance exposed to atmospheric agents
(sun, rain and others).
•
This electrical appliance was not made for use by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or with
ALQIMIA
a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are under the
supervision of the person responsible for their safety, or have received
instructions about the use of the electrical appliance.
•
Children must be kept under watch to ensure that they do not play
with the electrical appliance.
•
This electrical appliance includes an earthed plug. Please check
that the wall socket of your home is well-earthed.
•
Don't let the coffee machine operate without water.
•
This electrical appliance must be used in household and similar
applications.
•
Keep these instructions.
