Istruzioni per il montaggio della batteria
- Introdurre la chiave nella serratura del
coperchio del serbatoio, girare la chiave a
destra e alzare in alto il coperchio.
- Smontare i due dadi ad alette di fissaggio
del sellino ed estrarlo. Sotto il sellino c'Ë il
vano della batteria.
- Collocare la batteria nel proprio vano.
- Collegare gli spinotti positivo e negativo.
Manutenzione batteria
La buona manutenzione della batteria
deve includere:
- Mantenere sempre il livello liquido tra le
linee superiore ed inferiore della parte
frontale del recipiente. Se fosse necessa-
rio, riempire con acqua distillata. Evitare
rabbocchi eccessivi.
- Mantenere perfettamente chiusi i tappi dei
vasi. È importante.
- Mantenere completamente pulita la parte
superiore, secca ed esente di materie cor-
rosive. I terminali della batteria devono
essere puliti ed ingrassati per evitarne la
corrosione.
- Verificare con un densimetro la capacità
residuale della batteria. Una densità rela-
tiva di 1,265 o superiore è buona: se è
inferiore si deve caricare la batteria. La

- Place the key in the fuel tank cover lock,
turn the key to the right, and pull the cover
upwards.
- Undo the two saddle securing wing nuts,
and remove the saddle. Thew battery

- Place the battery in its compartment.
- Connect up the positive and negative ter-
minals.
Maintenance of the battery
Good maintenance of the battery should
include:
- Always keep the water level between the
upper and lower marks on the front of the
battery case. If necessary top up with dis-
tilled water. Avoid over-filling.
- Keep the caps of the cells completely clo-
sed. This is important.
- Keep the upper surface of the battery
completely clean and dry and free of
corrosive materials; the terminals should
be kept clean and greased so as to avoid
corrosion.
- Check the residual capacity of the battery
using a densitometer. A density of 1.265
or above is good, but if it is lower, rechar-

Anweisungen zur Montage der Batterie
Führen Sie den Schlüssel in das
Benzintankdeckelschloß ein, drehen Sie den
Schlüssel nach rechts und heben Sie den
Deckel nach oben ab.
Entfernen Sie die beiden
Befestigungsschrauben und nehmen Sie den
Sitz ab. Unter dem Sitz befindet sich das
Batteriefach.
Setzen Sie die Batterie in ihre Halterung.
Schließen Sie den positiven und den
negativen Pol an.
Wartung der Batterie
Zu einer guten Wartung der Batterie gehört:
- Darauf achten, daß der Wasserstand stets
zwischen der oberen und der unteren Linie
an der Vorderseite des Behälters liegt. Falls
notwendig, mit destilliertem Wasser
nachfüllen. Vermeiden Sie ein Überfüllen.
- Die Stopfen der Gefäße geschlossen halten.
Dies ist wichtig.
- Die Oberseite stets sauber, trocken und frei
von ätzenden Stoffen halten; die Klemmen
der Batterie müssen sauber und gut
geschmiert sein, um der Korrosion
vorzubeugen.
- Mit einem Dichtemesser die Restkapazität
der Batterie überprüfen. Eine Dichte von
1,265 oder darüber ist angemessen. Sollte
