INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS:

Refer to local codes and requirements to ensure compliance. Franke Kindred Canada cannot assume any responsibility for fixtures
improperly installed.
STEP 1 - Rough-in the following connections
Rear View of Centre and Right Hand Configurations.
Left Hand Configuration Opposite.

1b) Flush inlet connection 1 ½" NPT
1a) Toilet waste for a 2 3/8" OD plain end.
1c) Lavatory waste outlet1 ½" OD plain end.
1d) Lavatory valve (basin and water closet) connections
(per selected valve installation instructions)
1e) Open wall (if necessary) using the cutout template
(not required for poured concrete installations with wall sleeve)
a) Wall Sleeve Installation:
Wall Sleeves are installed (nailed) onto concrete forms.
They may also be permanently grouted into block walls.
1) Install sleeve with the flange on the chase side of the wall.
2) Locate the top and bottom notches to the vertical centerline of the fixture.
3) Locate the side notches at the dimension shown
(reference the finished floor cell side)
Installation Notes:
- If sleeves are not available, block out opening per BLOCKOUT dimensions shown.
- Temporary bracing should be used in the sleeve opening to prevent any
deformation occurring when pouring concrete. Do not pour concrete directly on
top of wall sleeve.
b) Knockout Template
Knockout templates are used to create wall openings by process such as flame
cutting or core drilling.
1) Create a horizontal chalk line at the notch dimension shown
(measured from the cell side finished floor).
2) Create a vertical chalk line to locate the centre of the fixture.
3) Place the knockout template on the wall and mark out the desired openings.
