16 Disposal

Electronic waste contains reusable materials and must not be disposed of with household
waste. Bring electronic waste to a designated municipal collection point.
Disposal of NiCd device battery
Batteries and rechargeable batteries contain harmful substances and do not belong in
household waste. Legal stipulations state they should be taken to a designated municipal
collection point. Only submit batteries and rechargeable batteries in uncharged condition.
Removing the device battery
Remove the front plate.
1. To do this undo a screw on the top and bottom side of the device using a 2 mm hex wrench.
2. Remove the front plate.
3. Undo the plug connector of the battery and remove the rechargeable battery from the holder.
