The emergency light module is equipped with an integrated self-test function, which is carried out at regular
intervals. The first self-test is performed a week after commissioning.

With the -S2 switch, the connection between emergency light module and battery can be interrupted and
hence a defect of the battery simulated.

Switch -S2 is in position "I":
Emergency module and battery are connected with one another.
•
Switch -S2 is in position "0":
Emergency light module and battery are separated from one another and a battery defect thereby
simulated. In this switch position, the integrated battery is not charged.
Note:
The battery is monitored permanent, regardless of the time of the automatic self-test.
The alarm reset occurs within 60 seconds after error elimination.

Since the charging time of the battery can be up to 24h, we recommend charging the battery in due
time prior to training.
For this, connect the connections (N 7 L) of emergency light module -T1 with the power supply
(N / L') and switch the supply voltage using the switch -S1.
Make sure that switch S2 is likewise in position "I".
