Metallen (z. B. Metallkleiderbügel) in Berührung kommen.
Aufgrund
der speziellen Färbetechnik sind diese Kompressionsprodukte
in ungetragenem Zustand etwas länger als Produkte ohne
Batik-Design. Dies hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf die Passgenau-
igkeit und medizinische Wirksamkeit.

Purpose
The consistent application of uniform surface pressure by
the compression garments has a beneficial effect on scar
maturation and development. Therapeutic application of
compression garments results in decreased blood circulation
and increased tissue elasticity. The aim is to reduce the
risk of the formation of hypertrophic scars and/or keloids or
achieve a reduction in their appearance. The objective of
compression therapy is to flatten the scar, increase tissue
elasticity and reduce scar rigidity.
Notes for application
Your specialist dealer or therapist will show you how to use it
correctly. Wear your compression garments for 23 hours non-
stop (or as advised by your doctor). Compression garments
offer a UPF 30 UV protection factor. The UV protection
only applies to those body regions that are covered with
compression garments. Rough, unfiled nails or sharp-edged
rings etc. may damage the very fine knitted fabric. Therefore
please use Juzo Special Gloves. For compression garments
with a silicone border, please note: The relevant part of the
body should be depilated and free from oils, powder, creams
and ointments. In order to increase the wearing comfort of
your compression garments, you can hoist the silicone border
a little (if there is one) a number of times during wearing.
Compression sleeves with knitted edges or silicone
borders
1. Starting from the top, down to half way, turn the sleeve inside
out.
2. a Roll the sleeve over your hand and continue up your arm
until the rolled-over section reaches your elbow.
b Compression sleeves with glove: Slide your hand or
finger right into the garment. If the product fits correctly,
there should be no creases or gaps between the fingers.
3. Work the rolled section of the sleeve over your elbow and
roll it towards your shoulder bit by bit. Spread out the gar-
ment's knitted fabric to fit nicely over the entire length of
the arm without any creases. If worn correctly, the garment
should not restrict your movement. Tip: Before donning,
fold over the silicone border (if applicable).
Compression sleeves with shoulder cap and strap
or bra fastening
4. Connect the strap ends so that you can afterwards place
the loop over your head and arm without the sleeve.
Caution: You can change the length of the shoulder strap
using the adjuster if it is too loose or too tight.
5. If there is a bra fastening, thread the touch
fastener around the bra strap and close it.
Arm wraps
Slide your arm fully into the garment. Proceed as described
in Point 3.
Please note:
Only wear compression garments if they have been
prescribed by a doctor. Compression garments should
only be dispensed by properly trained staff at a medical
retailer. Progressing the success of treatment or a change
in condition means that the compression garments will have
to be remeasured and, if necessary, new items will need
to be made. With products for small children, the fit of the
compression garments should be checked more regularly.
Your compression garments are largely resistant to oils,
ointments, skin moisture and other environmental influences.
The durability of the knitted fabric may be affected by certain
combinations of the above. This is why it is advisable to have
your compression garments checked regularly at a medical
retailer. Please contact your specialist retailer in the event of
damage. Do not repair the product yourself – this may affect
its quality and medical effectiveness. For hygiene reasons,
this product is intended for one person only.
