3 Transport and interim storage

Immediately after receiving the product:
• check the product for transport damage,
• in case of transport damage, initiate the necessary steps with
the haulage company within the corresponding deadlines.
CAUTION! Danger of damage to property!
Incorrect transport and interim storage can cause damage to
the product (Fig. 7).
• The pump should be protected from moisture, frost and
mechanical damage due to impact during transport and
interim storage.
• The pump must not be exposed to temperatures outside the
range of -10°C to +50°C.

4 Intended use

Pumps in the Wilo-Star-STG series are exclusively allowed to be
used for pumping fluids in the primary circuits of solar and geo-
thermal systems.
Fluids
Permitted fluids are water/glycol mixtures in a max. 1:1 mixing
ratio. If glycol is added, the delivery data of the pump must be
corrected according to the higher viscosity, depending on the
mixing ratio percentage.
WILO's approval is necessary for the use of other fluids.
