Procedure to pre-set high/low alarm levels for each channel. It will
sound an alert or close a relay when readings stray outside the pre-set
limits.
1.
Press SET until the display shows [SEt ALrM] and press CAL to
continue.
2.
The display shows e.g. [ALrM PH1], [ALrM MV2], [ALrM EC], [ALrM
°C]... etc. Select the desired alarm mode with
to continue or SET to return.
3.
The display shows [AL.=on] or [AL.=OFF]. Select the desired mode
with
or
and press CAL to continue or SET to return.
4.
This step is skipped unless [ALrM EC] has been chosen. The display
shows the conductivity measuring range & units, e.g. [Lo
0.01MS][Unit]. Select the desired low-alarm range with
press CAL to continue or SET to return.
5.
The display shows e.g. [AL.=6.00][LoW]. Select the desired minimum
level with
or
below this level, the beeper will sound an alarm (see 'Relay' page 6).
6.
This step is skipped unless [ALrM EC] has been chosen. The display
shows the conductivity measuring range & units, e.g. [Hi
0.01MS][Unit]. Select the desired high-alarm range with
press CAL to continue or SET to return.
7.
The display shows e.g. [AL.=8.00][HiGH]. Select the desired
maximum level with

This instrument is provided with a mechanical relay. Its voltage-free
contact can be programmed for high/low alarm or for instructing an
automatic sampler to proceed when readings are stable.
