Retrograde instrument for isthmus RE2
Titanium nitride coated instrument for the retro-
grade preparation of the isthmus between the root
canals. Must be used with a file holder.
Use a low to medium power setting.
Use a low to high irrigation rate if suitable.
Keep the cut of root apex and bone cavity
as small as possible. The use of retrograde instru-
ments requires much less space than when using
conventional files or instruments.
Perform a full retrograde canal preparation
prior to isthmus preparation. Insert the instrument
in one of the two canals where the isthmus begins,
then gently move it along the isthmus to create a
small groove.
