SHADING
Eliminates green or magenta color which may appear at the
top or bottom of the screen, when the camera is used with an
optical instrument.
Selection Function
Color elimination does not function.
OFF
If green or magenta color appears at the top or bottom
ON
of the screen when the camera is attached to a
microscope, etc., select this setting.
When SHADING is set to ON, LEVEL is highlighted.
Adjust while observing the screen so that the color is
eliminated. Adjustable range is from –127 to +127.
Adjusting direction Effect
+ Magenta at the top and green at the bottom
will be eliminated.
– Green at the top and magenta at the bottom
will be eliminated.
NEGA
Reverses the output image to negative/positive.
Selection Function
Outputs the image normally.
OFF
Outputs the image reversed to negative.
ON
GAMMA
Compensates gamma.
Selection Function
Normally select this setting.
ON
Compensates the reproduction characteristics of a
cathode-ray tube of a monitor to produce natural-tone
image.
Outputs the video signal linearity without gamma
OFF
compensation. Use this setting when you want to
produce images for image processing or image
analysis.
