These bearings must be changed with every blade change and every blade readjustment.
1. Unscrew the screw (B) Fig. 19 so that the blade's rear support bearing can be moved back and forward easily. This bearing must be posi-
tioned so that it just touches the back of the blade.
2. Position the lateral guide bearings (E) Fig. 12 approximately 1 mm behind the teeth base.
3. Tighten the screw (B) Fig. 19.
4. Unscrew the screws of the lateral bearings (F) Fig. 12 using an Allen key.
5. Push the guide bearings against each other (on the blade) so that they just touch the blade.
6. Turn the saw blade wheel clockwise several times by hand until the bearings are in the correct position.
- the two bearings must just touch the saw blade.
7. Tighten the bearing screws fully (F) Fig. 12.
D. CHANGING THE WHEEL TYRES
Regularly check the rubber tyres for wear. Always replace the tyres in pairs:
1. Take off the blade (see above).
2. Lift the tyres off the wheel with a small screwdriver.
3. Put the new plastic tyres in place and reinstall the blade.
E. REPLACING THE TABLE INSERT
The table insert must be replaced when the saw slot is damaged.
1. Remove the table insert (80) (push up from underneath).
2. Fit a new table insert.
F. CLEANING THE MACHINE
1. Open the lower housing door (K) Fig. 1.
2. Using a vacuum or a large brush, clean away chips and dust from:
- the inside of the lower part of the housing;
- the blade guides;
- the controls.
3. Close the door (K) Fig. 1.
G. STORING THE SAW
Store the machine so that:
- it cannot be started up by unauthorised individuals and
- nobody can be injured by the immobile tool.
Do not store the machine outside without protection or in a damp or wet place.
Before each troubleshooting operation:
- Switch the machine off.
- Unplug the power cable.
- Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop.
After each operation, put all the safety devices back into service and check them.
The motor will not run
The undervoltage relay has tripped due to a voltage drop.
- Reset the relay.
No power voltage:
- Check the cable, plug and fuse
.
Motor overheated e.g. by a blunt blade or a build-up of chips in the housing:
- Correct the cause of the overheating, let the machine cool for a few minutes and then start it up again.
The blade moves off the line of cut or away from the centre
If the blade is not running on the centre of the drive wheels:
