10-3 BATTERY TROUBLES AND COUNTERMEASURES
Trouble
Self-starter does not operate.
Self-starting motor power is
insufficient.
Plate top is whitish when
viewed from liquid inlet.
Battery charging is impossible. Battery has served its time.
Terminals are heated due to
excessive corrosion.
Battery liquid is decreased
excessively.
• If you have a problem, consult the special dealer or the specified service plant.
• The battery life is about two years.
After two years of service, the battery will not display its sufficient performance, making it difficult to start the engine.
Possible cause
Battery is not charged.
Terminal connection is
defective.
Battery life has served its time. Replace the battery.
Battery is not completely

Electolyte has been insufficient.
