4. Initial use

• Remove the packaging.
• Check the device, mains plug and cable for damage.
• Connect the device to the mains. When doing so, the device must be switched off.
• Ensure that the cable does not pose a trip hazard.
• Charge the device for 2 hours before the first use. If the battery level indicator flashes slowly this means
that the battery is charging. Once the display is permanently illuminated, the device is fully charged.
Then you can begin using the device either on battery power or using the mains cable.
• If the battery level indicator flashes rapidly during battery operation, the battery is empty. Charge the
device by placing it on the charger or connecting it to the mains adapter.
• One charge is sufficient for approx. 30 minutes of cordless operation. After that you can continue to use
the device via mains operation.

• F or hygiene reasons, you should not share the attachments with anyone else.
• W hen switched on, the device should not come into contact with other areas of skin (e.g.
eyelashes, head hair, etc.), or with clothes or cords, to avoid injury as well as blockages or
damage to the device.
• D o not use the device on irritated skin, varicose veins, rashes, spots, (hairy) birthmarks or wounds
without consulting a doctor beforehand. The same applies to patients with weakened immune
systems, diabetes, haemophilia and immune insufficiency.
Note
• B atteries do not have their full load capacity from the beginning. In order to achieve the full load
capacity of the batteries, they should be fully charged, completely discharged and then fully
charged once more prior to initial operation of the device. This recharge/discharge cycle should be
repeated as often as possible to extend the service life of the batteries.
• T he callus remover can be used on dry or wet skin. Removal of calluses is more effective on dry
skin.
• W hen used on dry skin, the skin must be completely dry and free from grease.
• D o not use any cream before removing calluses.
• D o not remove too much of a callus as it may otherwise grow back again more strongly.
