Pre-heater
The pre-heater can be activated or deactivated depending on the installation.

Supply/extract air

Setting the fan stage when the ventilation unit is set to either only supply air mode or
display
only extract air mode via the external contact. This configuration option is only
possible if the configuration 1 = DIBT is set in the unit configuration!

Factory setting: Fan stage 2
Safety functions (e.g. frost protection) override this setting.

Factory setting: Fan stage 2

Unit configuration
All specific unit settings can be found under menu item "Unit configuration", such as
con- figuration, pre-heater type, auxiliary heater type, heat exchanger type, ext. contact,
fault output.
– Configuration
– Config 1 = DiBt (takes the control technology requirements of DIBT into account)
– Config 2 = PHI (takes the control technology requirements of PHI into account)
If the installed ventilation unit is certified by the Passivhaus Institute, this will be taken
in- to account in the factory settings.

– Pre-heater
The following pre-heater types are available to order as unit-dependent accessories.
– Pre-heater electr. intern (Basis) (KWL EC 200/300/500 W and KWL EC 220/340 D)
– Pre-heater electr. (230V/400V) via KWL-EM (required)
– Pre-heater SEWT using KWL-EM (required)
– Pre-heater LEWT using KWL-EM (required)
– Auxiliary heater type
The following auxiliary heater types are available to order as unit-dependent accessories.
– Auxiliary heater electr. (230V/400V) via KWL-EM (required)
– Auxiliary heater hot water auxiliary heating coil via KWL-EM (required)
